There's also the Thunder Tiger TS-4N in the same price range, but again you are looking at a basic kit that, like the Fazer and Tamiya TGS, are no faster than an electric car and will not be up to the job on a racetrack if you are fancying racing.

Tamiya Mad Bison is 1/10 based on the TG10 chassis it's designated TGM10. It has a Tamiya FS15LT engine in it and they do go pretty well. Had the same tyres as the Monster Beetle so more of a monster truck than anything else. The only problem is finding one as they weren't particularly popular

Kit number 44001 was Tamiya's first nitro, first nitro engine (FS-15) and a foray into something other than electric power. Nowadays a real collectors piece and good ones change hands for around £450.

No probs! As Simen says, the Terra Crusher and Wild Commando and really all the big Nitro trucks from Tamiya were probably not as well sort after as the competition. The FS-18 engine wasn't a particularly good runner, overheated, after some decent use fuel would start leaking out the back plate causing the starter one way bearing to slip.

4) Most nitro trucks can't back out. Making a bit of a room to turn around would be a good habit. (Terra Crusher is rare in that it could reverse, I wish Tamiya kept the reversible nitro trucks.) 5) It would be best if you keep the fuel bottle closed. As mentioned, alcohol attracts water, and water in fuel isn't good.
